Parking is available in the Goodman Garage, off Highland Avenue. Patients and visitors should bring their parking tickets with them to receive a discount at the lobby desk. Metro bus schedules are available at the main lobby information desk.

Visits by family and friends are important for patients during a hospital stay. However, for the well-being of our patients, we ask that each patient have no more than two visitors at one time. Children under 14 years of age may not visit on patient floors without advance permission.

Because smoking is known to be harmful, smoking is not permitted in The University Hospital or its entrances. The client services attendant or lobby receptionist can show you where the designated smoking areas are.

Cell phones are permitted in non-patient care areas (lobbies). In patient care areas they are not permitted, as the transmission interferes with delicate patient monitoring equipment.
