The liver transplant program at The University Hospital began in 1986 and to date has performed more than 500 liver transplants. The program offers some of the shortest wait times for liver transplant in the country and excellent survival results.

The University Hopsital of Cincinnati Liver Transplant program has several recent achievements:

• The first liver patient transplant seminar in Cincinnati was held at our nationally recognized Cincinnati Zoo
